Meet Maggie Godin
A desire to understand health in all its facets began some twenty years ago and blossomed into a dedication to educate and inspire health potential. True altruism takes place when action is taken to further the welfare of another person without the anticipation of reward or recognition.
Maggie Godin began her pursuit by obtaining an Associates certification in the field of psychology. Although she was continuously inspired by the mind and internal medicine she felt a need to explore the ancient wisdom of acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. At Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California, Maggie was able to pursue this vision by earning her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine to be an acupuncturist and herbalist.
Maggie is versed in many areas of health and health maintenance but is particularly experienced with women’s health and fertility. Helping women obtain their optimal health for fertility and thrive through pregnancy and birth has been a very large part of Maggie’s practice. She also regularly attends births as a doula and birth coach. She has worked in many private clinics throughout California and Sydney. Some of the highlights of her career in San Diego were working with hospice patients and paediatric oncology and chronic pain patients at Rady Children’s Hospital. In Sydney she was grateful to first make a home at the IVF support clinic under Jane Lyttleton.
Maggie achieved Australian Citizenship in 2015 and lives in the east with her husband and kids. Serving the community by helping families and individuals achieve their best health is part of her daily joy.
